So I bought a GeForce GTX 950 about a week ago as I was told that it is compatible with an Asus A55BM-A/USB3 motherboard by a member on here. As I put it in though it makes my computer freeze.

Make sure you download the new drivers from Nvidia. If that doesn't work, try turning off the built in graphics card in bios.

Are you able to launch into Windows Safe Mode whilst the GPU is plugged in?
If you are, it is most likely a driver issue. Double check you have downloaded GeForce Experience and downloaded the latest driver available to you.
