Hello, I am trying to edit a video for YouTube on premiere cs6 that was captured with my HDPVR 2. The problem though is that premiere is only giving me the audio because it is an mp4 file. I've downloaded a few converters but they only convert half of the clip. I need some guidance here.

You Handbrake to re-encode the full video.

Handbrake is completely free and is one of the best encoding programs out there.

Or you can use XMedia Recode to just encode it to a different container (.mkv. avi etc) That is the fastest way.
