no, metal is like rap but it has music and metal derives from classical, but with kickass guitar.

no rap and metal are THE SAME! rap have music in them too, if you listen to the beats of a rap song, 9/10 songz have drum beats in them and a lil other stuff. Not 100% of metal/rap is full music instruments in them. They have the same style just sounds different.

Classical music, anything that is dominantly instrumental.

You say rap isn't music, and then your exception to that is "Eminem," that's a disgrace.

Listen to Brotha Lynch Hung (old school), Tech N9ne, Bone Thugs and Harmony, WC, and South Central Cartel.

Those are good examples of real rap.

But, I'm not arguing with you, metal is better in my opinion, and Metallica is no exception.
