I have a problem with my Samsung galaxy ace GT-S5839I don't judge I broke my new phone, anyway the problem is I can connect a data transfer cable from my phone to the computer it will just sit their charging but wont allow me to transfer data but sometimes it will pop up and will let me transfer it then it will suddenly disconnect me but keep on charging, any one got any idea on what it can be as its confusing me on why it does it and I will +rep to the person who get it to work.

I had a similar issue with my Samsung GS4

My computer would not update the drivers

I went out and bought a micro USB card and transfered data to my phone with that

I just went to the store a bought the cheapest.

Not too picky on product.

Check online for your drivers, You can find them online. Otherwise try a new Data Transfer cable.
