So I would like to buy a new computer or laptop, i'm not which one yet tho. Hopefully you guys can help me with this!

Here's what i'll be using it for:
-Youtube
-Gaming (probably mostly just runescape)
-Exploring the web

That's pretty much it! I want it to be able to run runescape with best graphics possible with no lag or close to no lag! This is a must since its the only game ill play on it.

Now i'm not sure if i want a laptop or computer...
My wifi isn't great but i have an ethernet cable going to my room.
do laptops have an ethernet port and wifi? If there are any that have both that would probably be better.

My budget is probably around $300-$500. Preferably less if it can do what i need it to with no problems.

Please, any help/suggestions would be great! I will +REP for whoever helps me out the best.

Thanks!

You will get much more performance for your dollar by getting a desktop and building it yourself, but don't worry its not tha hard. Something like this build is under your budget but will still be more than enough power for runescape and you can easily upgrade it in the future too, so you can play more games.

If you did want to use your entire budget at the start then you can, i'd either recommend an SSD for super fast loading times, or a more expensive graphics card.

If you're after a laptop or desktop, will you be needing a monitor, keyboard & mouse with a desktop?

So say I wanted to use my whole budget and get the SSD and/or a better graphics card how much would it be? And could you send me another link including those?
