Basically my question is are you happy with your current position in life?
I'll go first, No I am not, I am 19 and currently working for a security firm (which I enjoy) at the local hospital mainly dealing with prisoners from the local prison, I have dabbled in shit minimum wage jobs such as call centres and bar work, apart from my apprenticeship upon getting kicked out of school at 15, Kitchen and Bathroom fitting, which was my most enjoyable job! I make a good living from the current job but it does favour very unsociable hours.
I am saving for a deposit on a house with my girlfriend of 3 years with the governments helps this should be achieved within 2 years, all sounds well but I feel like I haven't really lived out my teenage years accordingly, I don't go out drinking or really do anything 'fun' ever since my first job when I was removed from mainstream education... I did most things you are meant to be 18 for whilst I was 14/15 and thoroughly regret that as I now feel like from here on its just going to be Bills, Tasks, Jobs and endless Responsibilities.
Are any of you guys content or are you just pushing on and ignoring the fact you're not particularly happy ?
Curious to know

Working two jobs at the moment, I'm 18 and I've got my own two cars.
I recently just received an offer as an auto electrician trade. Which will set me up for life, so life is great. Can't ask for much more!

Despite what you may do in life always try to strive for a happy existence. If your teenage years are up why should that stop you from still doing the things you want to do? I know how money and jobs are important in life, don't get me wrong. But you should strive for greater things, don't let someone tell you what you can and cannot do, you are you, you make your own decisions and craft your own dreams. The meaning of life is what you make of it and how you choose to live it.
A man once said: "The scientist does not study nature because it is useful to do so. He studies it because he takes pleasure in it, and he takes pleasure in it because it is beautiful. If nature were not beautiful it would not be worth knowing, and life would not be worth living."
To answer your question on my situation /or position in life, it would have to be: Yes, I am happy. Not because I have money, or a job. But because I wake up everyday realizing the importance of my life, and I'm always satisfied at the end of each day knowing I might of helped or gave ease to someone who may have been in a troubling state.
Sorry if this was way beyond what you were asking. I tend to get ahead of myself. I hope you become happy with your current position in life one day. If you ever need anyone to talk to, please feel free to pm me. Happy to chat.

We're very similar. I just turned 20 and I work for AlliedBarton security services. I don't make minimum but I don't make quite as much as I'd like. My girlfriend and I (Of 3 years ironically) are also trying to move out but things keep getting in the way. I do drink and go out from time to time but not as much as I'd like.
With that being said, you are not alone sir.
