Why would you get a maxed out Macbook for school? That's wasting money.

Doesn't matter if you are going for that, you don't need to waste that much money. Just get a simple Dell laptop.

if you're going for engineering, of course depending on what kind of engineering, i would recommend that you don't get a mac.. a lot of the engineering software that you are going to be running runs a lot better on laptops versus mac books.
