Right guys
There's a big sale at a mega PC store in the uk called PC world
And I seen a nice curved monitor quite cheap,
Can I use the monitor for like gaming on my ps4 also streaming nowTV etc?

Yes you probably can if you get the right cables. Im not the one to tell you about this but there is a lot of people on here that use monitors for gaming for their consoles

Would I not just need a hdmi cable or is it more complicated than that?

Or just go to PC world and ask a member of staff there? Chances are as long as it has an HDMI port then it should be fine. But as Hurleh said. Make sure as you may need a few extra cables. But if you ask staff at PC world. They will show you what you would need.

Yeah, I'm sure you can just use a HDMI cable as I've done it before, I dunno what all the new monitors are like, I only had a shitty old one I used just to see if it would work..
