I've seen tons of horror films but I never get too shaken up by them. Anybody know of a scary movie you find to be actually kind of scary or at least hard to watch alone? Any suggestions are appreciated!

EDM wrote I always thought Insidious was a very scary movie.
I personally wouldn't count insidious as "scary" based on the fact that the movie is just full of jumpscares, yeah the movie has a slightly creepy setting but it would be nothing without the jump scares, A real scary movie has more depth than jump scares

A lot of horror movies ive seen just don't really scare me. Mainly because I know they are fake. But there is one movie that kinda freaked me out. "The Gallows". I actually thought that movie was kinda freaky. I recommend it if you haven't seen it

I'd watch the Paranormal Activity movies, the Haunting in Connecticut, Insidious', The Conjuring, Annabelle, and any VHS movie.

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones kind of bugged me the hell out. Maybe watch the Blair Witch Project if you're into older movies.
