Alright so I need to make sure my VPN is working on my Xbox and non of my friends are online that can pull IPs so I need someone to see if they can grab my IP in a Xbox Live Party

if retail I have no idea sorry if RGH xxmodedwarfarexx made a video any questions pm on retail they could still boot you if you have bad VPN

Yea I have IPvanish and someone told me I have to connect my Xbox to my computer and it will automatically work but I find that hard to believe.

I have IPVanish, too.

Connecting your Xbox to your PC to share connections (VPN) will work. Just make sure you have everything properly set up. If you really want to check your IP, go onto the browser app and search "What is my IP Address" or hop onto BO2 and in the menu, view the system info and it should show your IP.

So I went to my network and sharing in my settings and allowed my Xbox to run through my laptops wifi and now I have my VPN on my Xbox properly! It's just every so often I get disconnected from LIVE because the IP changes. But other than that I have it set up. The only reason I need it connected to my laptop is because of WireShark and that's where I run into the big problems like not being able to connect to LIVE
