Just a simple logo design

Try giving it some color.
A bright blue or teal or something for the top part would gave it some life.

Change the font og the JACKETTY text . It shouldn't be the same, but something that compliments it nicely. Also, something nice and bold.

And move that text up closer to the icon by about half the distance of that space.

Get rid of that arc and dots, completely.

Personally from a beginner it looks great! I do agree, color would be nice just to give it some flare.
