Yes, it will be perfectly fine. An i7 won't be that much better in many games so it often isn't worth the premium.

Yes, it will be perfectly fine. An i7 won't be that much better in many games so it often isn't worth the premium.

An i7 will always be better for gaming than an i5. Most Triple A titles now have a i5 pinned at 100% usage which can actually bottleneck in some games where as an i7 with hyper threading will only sit around 50-70% usage and will perform much better but a i5 will get the job done.

That's what I meant by not much better. Sure, it will be but it isn't often worth the extra money that it costs to get the i7 for the sake of a few extra frames.
