Is upgrading to Pro on CodeAcademy worth it? I viewed what it gives. But I just want some opinions on it from someone who may of had it, or has it. Trying to get back into programming.

It's $20.00 a month. It covers about everything, and adds instant guidance and help.

I don't think that it is worth it. You don't need the extra guidance. Part of programming is problem solving. HTML, Javascript, and all the other languages that you can learn there are pretty easy to pick up, and the basics that are provided for free are usually more than enough to get you started.

If you get stuck to the point where you have to ask someone for help, you can always just google the issue.

IMO it depends on what course you are taking. Things like web development don't get much easier with the pro tasks compared to some of the other courses.

It's mainly beneficial for the tasks it sets you once you've completed the course as a way to practice your programming.

I wouldn't bother though. You can just as easily think of a task or get some from online to be able to practice on.
