Make a rectangle image yh, any resolution, upload to youtube thumbnail section in the video editor yh, job done. (Ya should have youtubed this by now)

YouTubes thumbnail size is 1280x720, Find an image your video has to deal with, Put some colorful text on it, and a gradient. Boom, You have the average YouTube thumbnail.
