I want to make a server to do a PvP series

yeah it will easily run Minecraft on a server i used to do it on a old dell computer for me and my friends with no problem

i think thats pretty overkill for minecraft.. even if you have mods enabled it'll run like no tomorrow.

Minecraft is super difficult to run. You may need another 780ti, or even try to get a 980ti. It'll still struggle a bit though.
