Lets just say they prob did make one but their efforts have been a waist of time.

I doubt they even have one. There equipment is oh so old and not up for starting a war. They don't have the materials (Equipment) to build one

Here's the thing about North Korea. Kim is a child, who throws a tantrum and as soon as he gets something in return, he shuts up for a while. Back in 2013, he was threatening to nuke the US, went as far as to even have propaganda videos (even stole a clip from the MW3 campaign, depicting it as America getting attacked by North Korea.) He told the Russian and Chinese embassies within in his country that he couldn't guarantee their safety and to leave, both of them denied. Japan and South Korea both said they would destroy any missile fired from North Korea. China and Russia both told North Korea to knock it off. After months of the "threats" North Korea demanded money for aid, which they got, then Kim shut up for about a year, before saying he would attack America, again. After that, shut up once again until recently with their H bomb, how they have "a long range missile capable of hitting the US." As I said above, Kim is a child. He throws tantrums to get attention (because honestly, North Korea would almost be forgotten in the media if he didn't say the stuff he does) and if he wants money. As for him actually nuking the US? Doubt it. Again, South Korea and Japan both have their anti-missile defense ready and I'm sure the Americans have theirs ready too. If anything, South Korea is in more danger of an attack from North Korea, than America is from an attack of North Korea.

Koreans may be smart mathematically, but when it comes to warfare they might as well kill themselves.
