If you going to drop $150 on a controller I wouldn't drop it on a XB1 Elite controller.. I would get a modded rapid fire controller with some sick LED's some worth the money.

I like that controller a lot and that's what i would go with out of the two. You have to consider what would be the most useful and what you would use the most though.

Way too expensive in my opinion
I suggest that you learn to add custom parts yourself
More customization available, and It's a lot cheaper
Also, you can learn how to add extra buttons. I have a controller laying around that has an extra X button on the back of it

It all depends on what you want to get out of it. The Elite Controller will only affect how you play the game. The portable system will affect where you play the game.

You should also consider how much you travel, and whether or not you want to be distracted by video games on your vacation.

I would personally recommend getting the controller, simply because when you travel, you should be disconnecting and enjoy the vacation.

Makenna wrote So theres two items that I've had my eye on but I haven't really pulled the trigger on buying them. I have enough for one these so which one should I get?

Gaems M155

Xbox One Elite Controller

speaking from personal experience and owning the gaems, not all it cracks up to be, I'm in the military and i owned, and have been friends with people who owned them and i can confidently speak on my part saying that its not all that great, still is bulky and honestly the quality seemed like it was laggy a little from input due to the screen. anyway id recommend the controller, but if you are going to get one id recommend a scuff, xbox elite is good don't get me wrong but if you can spare the little extra on price, scuff has way more options with their controllers I'mo. good luck on your shopping though man!

Get the xb1 elite controller. More useful IMO.

Thanks guys! I just ordered a XB1 Controller on amazon and it even comes with 1 Day shipping for just $5 more. It should be here tomorrow morning. And amazon is always great with returns so all I have to do is tell them if I don't like it and I can send it back for a refund!

Good choice, plus the elite controller is extremely high quality. I don't know why that other dude said the thumb sticks will wear out the same. They won't. They're made of metal so you won't get any saw dust.

Well do you think you'd use the tv a lot?
keep in mind you have to plug the xbox into it still.
