Hi.

Wondering if anyone with graphical knowledge could tell me how I would go about creating the text used at 0:40 in this video [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

It's the Battlefield text but it has that little ripple effect going for it. Anyone know?

To make the actual text, I used a font called "BankGothic Md BT Medium" and applied the "Outer Glow" effect in the Blending Options using these settings:

Then I took this image, turned it so the lines point horizontally, changed the blend mode to 'Soft Light' and applied it over the text. You can also make your own "lines" too, it's not that hard.

After I applied it over the initial text and this is what it gave me.

Appreciate the help but any idea how he got the little ripple effect going?
