Hi, i just recieved a windows 10 key that i dont know what to do with. Im almost done building my pc and i have no os installed. Can somebody explain to me how to install windows with a key?

Download the ISO from Microsoft and then use the key upon installation.

Thank you. Also, can i go on the internet explorer without os? Im sure you can but just making sure because i thoughf the os was used for it to be able to work at all

You'll need to download and extract the ISO from a separate PC.

Or you can use a Linux Distro and do it that way.

I dont have another pc. How do i use linux?

Download and install that to your PC. Then download the ISO for Windows 10 through the browser built into that. Then you can install Windows after that is complete.

So once i finish building my pc. I open up this link from ie? Then download it?

You need an ISO from wither Linux or Windows installed on either a CD or a USB stick which is bootable. When your pc is built, you spam F10 or F8 depending on board on the BIOS screen to go into the boot menu, choose the CD or USB (whichever you chose) and install windows/linux from there.

then buy a USB then, 4GB will do.
then download an ISO from microsoft and then follow a tutorial on youtube, with a program such as roofus
