Just recently I started getting a problem with my PC where it would launch up fine, I'd get to my desktop and then it would freeze. I couldn't select anything. Couldn't even open task manager but my keyboard and mouse would still work. I reset my PC in the settings and deleted all files etc. everything seemed fine, as soon as I try to install my Corsair Keyboard drivers it completely freezes, mouse and keyboard both stop working and screen completely freezes. I have to hold the power button in to get it to turn off. Can anyone help/suggest something? I thought it could have been a Mobo issue.

So the crashes only start occurring when you install your Corsair drivers or anytime after a fresh install.

This could be a number of things.

The first thing would be possible corrupted windows or drivers.

But it could also have to do with hardware failure.

I'd probably look into a system restore, it should keep your files but fix windows. It's the fastest and easiest way of fixin something like this, as troubleshooting is a bitch on windows.
