All these film lovers, yet none have reviewed any movies.

You should've posted more than two reviews, Crosby. Along with everyone else that supported the badge. Not enough demand was shown in the topic. There is no point in the badge when about five different people in total have submitted no more than ten reviews altogether.

Good question. When people want to go and see a new movie but they are unsure if it's their kind of movie and or if they will enjoy it, they know that this user is reliable at giving accurate reviews as they have required the badge, and will base their decision upon what he/she says.

I think this badge would be a great feature for the site and would inspire a lot of people to start writing their own reviews.

Then you'd also have to ask about the quality of these reviews. Quality is always better than quantity. These reviews should include all aspects of the film, not just "I like how" or "this was cool because". The reviews should be written well, (few grammatical errors), as well as discussing actors and directors; how well the script was written; what was done well, etc.

A badge isnt the only thing that shows you know what youre talking about. If a user here posted multiple film reviews weekly or one a day I GUARANTEE you that user would be known for their reviews without having a badge.

I personally think that they should make all the reviewing ideas into one. Just make a singular "Reviewer" badge for all the reviews that take place on site. The badge would make everyone happy, and there would be 10-15 ways to earn it depending on what kind of reviews that specific person was focusing on.

I still hope a badge of this sorts is in the works. I'd love to post a few reviews of the greats and the craps.

Could be fun.

There probably will be one added eventually. They have added practically everything else, so im sure having a film reviewer badge isn't too far off.

Well if it was my choice, it would be a general reviewer badge, across all categories. Not just Games / Films.

I think it should just become one big badge, with films/games etc.

Would like to see it implemented in the future.

It's a shame they didn't add the badge in the new v5 update.
We had lots of badge to aim for now as Tricks said.
It's all good.
