I'm guessing it will only stay for the month that they get it right? Or maybe if they do keep it it shows the month that they got it for?

Picking a few members instead of 1 may be a good idea

Well it shouldnt cause arguments, well i hope not. I mean it is member of the month and everyone gets a chance each month and obviously no one can be member of the month once they have been already ( i hope so) So i dont think people will complain about it i mean if you do your best to get it everyone has a fair shot

Sean has already confirmed that the badge will not be earned by the amount of posts a user posts per month. They will be looking at multiple aspects that go into being the member of the month such as quality of posts, and how much they do/giveback to the community.

I agree with this although it should have some type of difference to be able to tell which month this person was the MOTM.

I agree with this although it should have some type of difference to be able to tell which month this person was the MOTM.I agree with you on this but how could they show the difference in it? I was gonna suggest different color for each month but it'd hog some room on the rank page then.
