Not worth risking anything, just buy bonds from Jagex and sell those, slightly more expensive but 0 chance of ban.

I've found that buying gold is overall cheaper.
Make a second account, put the gold onto that one, train woodcutting or something to 5, then transfer the money to your main. Stops your account being traced
