So a while back I put a topic up about my pc having problems and taking it to a professional them telling me the hard drive was failing I bought a new hard drive still same errors yadda yadda yadda. Ended up being I had 2 bad ram chips at least thats what I think because I got my pc to work after taking them out. So heres the thing. I did a wipe on my pc after getting it in working order. My problem is that I could not for the love of god get my windows 7 copy to install at all. I have a 3tb HDD and everytime I tried to install it wouldnt install. Well finally got it to install only to have it turn off and on for some odd reason while installing then asks me to install all over again. When I do it finally works but says its already installed I guess because it failed before? and it works so my pc has windows 7 installed and everything. Well because im guessing it has it installed on 2 different partitions? I cant go into safe mode when ever I do it will freeze upon loading my files. Okay the other problem is I can no longer see the other partition at least I dont know how and out of my 3tb hard drive only 2 will show up? Im guessing to do with the partition? Anyways I need help fixing what ever this is and I'm too much of a pansy to wipe my pc again because im afraid it will mess up again

Well it sounds like a your HDD is bad.

But since you replaced it the odds of getting another broken one is slim.

it could be your SATA cable or your motherboard.
