A deadly virus is spreading in Latin America.

The World Health Organization declared a "public health emergency of international concern" Monday over the Zika virus and the health problems that doctors fear it is causing.

The big fear is not that the disease is deadly with no cure, but how fast it is spreading.

Last week, the agency said the virus was "spreading explosively" in the Americas, with as many as 3 million to 4 million infections possible over 12 months.

Zika is spreading through mosquitos. So more like West Nile.

I feel as though they don't actually go. I think the media simply chooses when to make it known and when to tone it down.

Viruses/Diseases DON'T just come and go, they've been around for a while...

I read somewhere that a British team think they have found a possible cure for the Zika virus. I guess only time will tell though.

I saw this onlime the other day and not only can it spread threw mosquitoes but it can spread threw sexual inter course. Read online that some woman from Texas got it from sexual inter course which is pretty scary to think.
