In almost all cases a facecam helps significantly with audience connection, but I do have a couple tips for you.
1. Get an HD webcam that will film in a 16:9 aspect ratio, as the stretched out cam layout you have at the moment doesn't look very nice.
2. Get some decent lighting set up for yourself. Nice lighting will go MILES in making the viewer believe you put a large effort into your content, here's a link to a good [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
3. Maybe consider investing in a nice microphone to provide clearer easy to listen to audio on your videos, start with something simple like a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
