That isn't the issue here. The issue is that OP received a gift of gold just to have that user turn around and reverse the payment and not really pay for the gold which hurts the site and wastes staffs time to have to go and remove the gold from OP.

Chargebacks are such a pain, but at least the person gets banned.

I think that the TTG staff should just let you keep your gold if you were gifted and they charged back. Obviously it is a different story if YOU buy gold and charge back, but since it was gifted to the user, I think they should be able to keep it.

Yeah but if they did that, people would make secondary accounts and gift themselves.

This has happened to me twice before and both times were from a giveaway

Never had that done to me yet, only true gifters gift me in a way that my gold never gets redrawn. I would hate to be a non gold member, so being one. Haha

Cant really get pissed at something free tbh.. and this post seems like a sympathy thread for free gold
