So If you're old as me here on the PC Forum then you probably remember my build a few years back,
I have had numerous errors with my GPU Since it was bought and before I Get rid of it I want to know if it definitely is my GPU and not the fact my PSU Is only 550w.
I was told for years that 550w is fine for my gtx 770 but dont wanna go wasting money on a new GPU When it might be the PSU That is the problem.
Any help is really appreciated thanks.
My PSU Is an XFX 550W Core
And gpu is a gigabyte 2gb GTX 770

550W is more than enough for almost any single GPU nowadays, what exactly are the problems you are having?

I shall be surfing the internet and playing a game and out of nowhere the card discolours the page then persists to bring up display driver errors and crash the rig. It's persistently happened since was built 2 years ago however its now doing its 24/7 and have had to borrow a card from a friend for now.
Its extremely annoying and just want rid at this point, I have tried every solution there is known for the error but nothing seems to work.

Give your card to your friend if his power supply will accommodate it then try to reproduce the issue. It could simply be a faulty card.

Thing is i swapped out to a card of around the same power intake and its been fine. So im guessing its just a faulty card.
