After watching the Blue Mountain State TV series on Netflix I was gutted to find out it was cancelled and that Alex Moran never got to have his senior year. After browsing around when I find out a series I've watched has been cancelled I found out that they were trying to make a movie to be able to give the series an ending that it deserved. I've watched the TV series 3 times now and highly recommend watching it to others.

However the movie is an absolute disaster! There is so much talk of things that have happened between the end of the TV series and the film that they didn't put into the film apart from talks of what happened. For example talks of Thad being 1st pick in the draft are had but no footage of it is shown, also I was under the impression that all the best characters would be in it such as Greg Shilo and Radon Randell but they are in it for around 30-60 seconds of actual filming and play no part whatsoever in the story.

The film really let me down as I thought if they were able to do a good job then there would be a possibility of another 1 or 2 extra seasons being added to Blue Mountain State as companies such as Netflix or Amazon could have helped to finance it, but it looks as though that is the end of it now and I will just have to watch the TV series again at a later date.

GO GOATS!!!

How was the movie? I remember watching part of the series like season 1 but that was it, I wanted to watch the movie and just searched it up and seen that it was released Feb. 2nd, how did you watch it?

I watched the entire series and loved it, it was so funny.

Obviously I was upset when it was canceled so soon, but I thought the movie was delayed?

The movie was supposed to be released last July right? I don't remember ever hearing about it again. Kind of sucks it hasn't been released. The show was hilarious and I often end up re-watching it on netflix every now and then.

Nope, the movie was released either January or early February. You can google it and rent it for 3 bucks through Amazon, Youtube, iTunes, etc.

As of the movie, it was kinda stupid to me. The series was better than the movie. They focused it around thadland too much and didn't bring back other characters for more than about 5 minutes.

the blonde chick alex and mary joe were getting with was bomb af.

Movie was such trash, couldn't even get through 10 minutes of it. Terrible acting, they didn't even film on the same BMS campus they originally used..

Movie was OK. Not the best and not as funny as the series.

Still worth the watch.

I watched the movie last night, I laughed a few times as it seems like an attempt to just finalise everything and the most on screen drugs references in a film ever.

Total letdown to the series however, much like the last two episodes of series 3!!

It was okay to watch I guess some people may think different. Wasn't keen watching other series for that movie. Okay to watch though

I actually like the movie. Although I am easily entertained. Was a little disappointing that the movie wasn't based on Alex's last year but on Thad.
