Every time I put a fresh set of batteries in my controller yet they last a day each tops and so I'm spending a high amount of money monthly on batteries anyone having the same issue?

i would suggest buying rechargeable batteries i have the same issue were i buy batteries every week its very annoying and gets expensive.

I had the same issue and I had rechargable batteries. It ended up fixing when I accidently factory reset my xbox. Not sure if thats why it was fixed, but it was fixed after that.

Xbox One Controllers to eat though your regular AA Batteries quite quickly.. I would suggest purchasing a pack of 8 Duracell Re-Chargeable Batteries, They last me 2-3 Hours of solid gaming! And you've always got a spare pare ready to go on charge.
Either this or i suggest grabbing a regular Samsung Phone charge cord and connecting you controller to the XBOX (If you close enough obviously).
You can find cheaper options also
