The bank might just blame it on him.
That's what happened to my friends mum her card got stolen and they spent over 4 grand and the bank basically refused to give her the money back and just blamed it on her oldest son
So he's lucky to get the money back but it's not as much so he might get lucky

Okay guys thanks for the help, I'll inform him and let him know he won't be able to do legal action and just to keep fighting to get the money back from his bank!
