So my laptop was previously "broken" because my hdd died or had a imminent failure...so i bought a new one and i put into my laptop and i put in my windows 8 os disc in and i booted it up and it brought me to the windows setup where it sets your pc up to install windows and i had to select a drive and there was a drive listed so i clicked it and it installed windows perfectly fine...so it was fixed for about a week and i was playing csgo and raged and slammed my laptop with my fist and the screen went black and the laptop powered off so i turned it back on and it says boot device not found, please install a boot a boot option. so i put in my os disc and get to the window setup and there is not a drive listed ans its says drive not found, to get a storage driver press driver so i click it and it still says no hdd found.
please help!
*note* im on a hp laptop
thanks

Check your motherboard's sata port. Look for anything that may be snapped/bent.

What you've done is either killed your Hard Drive or its out just a tad. On the bottom of the laptop, there should be a couple of screws which you can undo to open a flap. It will have a cylinder on it. Thats the Hard Drive area. See if its in place. If its ticking, its dead.
