This is a letter to the Customers of apple products regarding the FBI's attempt to gain backdoor capabilities into everyone's cellular devices. I for one think this is insane.

Let me know what you think as well as here is the letter written by apple on there website: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

First off, Apple is one of the best phone companies out there in the world of technology. The USA Government is making it easy for criminals and hackers get into people's security reach because the Government thinks that's the only way to build a strong wall of security for Apple.

"The government suggests this tool could only be used once, on one phone. But that's simply not true. Once created, the technique could be used over and over again, on any number of devices. In the physical world, it would be the equivalent of a master key, capable of opening hundreds of millions of locks from restaurants and banks to stores and homes. No reasonable person would find that acceptable."

Yes that would be stupid for a multi Billion company to invade Apple Customers phone data by having one lock and someone in the lock cracking the lock for that one person have to thousands, millions if not billions of locks to crack. Also having Bank information, Notes information, and personal information. That to me is just mind blowing for a Government to make for a company and for that company to say "No" is right because Apple knows they're are in the wrong for making that un-secured ability for other people to go threw your phone data and steal your personal information.

"The government is asking Apple to hack our own users and undermine decades of security advancements that protect our customers".

OMG, I'm so done with life. Are you reading this guys, what I'm a quoting. Oh my days, The government is asking the company "Apple" a multi nation phone company for Apple to hack people's phone[s] to "protect the their security. It's like the whole nation against Anonymous trying to stop them hacking the nation, it's like what? Doesn't make sense.

"We are challenging the FBIs demands with the deepest respect for American democracy and a love of our country. We believe it would be in the best interest of everyone to step back and consider the implications."

All we can do is now, to believe in the FBI in what they're saying and the actions they are taking. What ever you do now FBI don't upset Apple and the customers of Apple.

This honestly won't last long. Apple respects security and privacy which I appreciate, but I could care less if the FBI used their services to gather intel on possible terrorism, as long as it saves lives, than I can only see one plus side to this. Of course there is the worry of hackers, but I truly feel they would be apprehended or caught if accessing this backdoor being used by the government. I don't text or lookup things that would be investigated by the authorities, so I have nothing to worry about. I'm very secure with my information and don't really link anything to my phone. So I'm on the FBI's side for the time being.

Little do people surprisingly don't know is that they already have machines or AI's per say that distinguish and go through emails, texts, and etc.. To gather information and possible threats to look into. Of course they could brute force their way through about anything technology related now a-days, but they like to verify and make sure it's alright to use other people's services. They are partnered with soo many organizations, it's hard to live a private life.

What I read from the source is not shocking. But I honestly think they're trying to expand their progress and search for future terrorism. The FBI want access to apple, to have access to countless texts, photos, personal information, contacts, apps, and etc... to monitor. I do believe they're trying to lockdown hard on terrorism and prevent it, they do have good intentions. But the methods, the freedom, and the privacy at stake here is just going to be corrupted.

I wonder how this will play out.

Honestly, I don't really care -- as long as this is for the purposes of national security and nothing else. If the government wants to see how much I browse Reddit, I'm okay with that. I have nothing to hide and I wouldn't feel paranoid about it.

Technology is an asset for terrorists as much as it is for everyone else. While I'm reluctant about it, I'd rather sacrifice some of my privacy than put the government a step behind terrorists/other security matters.

Since you're not doing anything wrong and don't care if your data is being kept, you can feel free to send me your email and banking passwords. I mean, you're not one of the bad guys, are you? What do you have to fear?

If it is access to your internet a Backdoor via iPhone they can not see everything you do.. You will only trigger key words such as "bomb" relating to terrorism or anything else illegal I for one think this is wrong but like I said it will only occur when you trigger illegal keywords... Anyway has this already happened? Are they doing this right now or is it going to be happening sometime soon?
