Pope Francis questions Donald Trump over Christianity
The pope question Donald Trump over his own religion what he believes in. Donald Trump isn't happy about the Pope. Pope and I quote "A person who thinks only about building walls, not a building bridges isn't a Christian. "This is not a Gospel" This is where the big hungry bear jumps in.
Pope
Pope is saying because of Donald Trump said he's going to build the walls and Mexico is going to pay for it. The Pope isn't happy at all and that's why Pope is calling out Donaold Trump and saying that he isn't a Christian.
Donald Trump
As the pope called out Donald Trump, he said a couple of things to protect himself and believe what Trump is saying. Trump saying that Trump is happy the way he is meaning of happy that he is a Christian. Pope Francis said "a person who thinks only about building walls... and not of building bridges, is not Christian". Trump called out the Pope and called him "Disgraceful" Calling himself a "proud Christian", Mr Trump blamed Mexico for the Pope's remarks, calling them "disgraceful". Mr Trump has alleged that Mexico sends "rapists" and criminals to the US.

This is so stupid.
Both of these people do not follow their own Gospel or the example set by Jesus.
The Pope has told his bishops that they don't have to report child abuse to authorities if they are aware of it happening within the Church.
That sounds exactly like something Jesus would do, turn a blind eye to suffering.
And Donald Trump has clearly never read the Bible.
'Keep all of them Muslim and Mexican immigrants out because they're ruining our country.'
Let's see what the Bible has to say about immigration:
"When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself."
- Leviticus 19:33
"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
- Hebrews 13:2
"And you shall not strip your vineyard bare, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner."
- Leviticus 19:10
There are 100 Bible verses about immigration and all of them are in favor of it.

But no, Donald Trump is a proud Christian.
What is the icing on the cake here?
JESUS was an immigrant. He fled Nazareth and Bethlehem for Egypt. He was an undocumented immigrant.

If he doesn't want Trump to build a wall, maybe he should step outside of the Vatican and take a look at his surroundings. He should stick to exploitation and feeding his people garbage. Politics and religion should not be mixed.

So when the pope tells he's bishops that they do not have to report priests who are guilty of child abuse and if they do decide to report the guilty priests that it should be internal only.. That's not building walls to protect the church ??...
By the popes own admission ,He is no Christian !!.

Before you all start to try and flame me for what I'm going to be saying; I am an Atheist. I honestly do not care about any of this, but I have an opinion I would like to put in.
So, the Pope head of the Catholic Church. Why is he even getting into another's belief in Christianity? I understand enough to know that both are alike in some ways, but the Pope is for a completely different religion that what Donald Trump beliefs in.
As for the Pope not wanting walls to be built to keep people out;
Isn't Vatican City completely shut off from tourists, other than the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica? I mean, how is this not hypocritically?
Yes, I understand he lives there and doesn't want people on his front doorstep, but you can freely walk up to the fence that is around the White House. Honestly, in my opinion, the President of the United States is one of the most powerful people in the world, more powerful than the Pope. So, why not let people in?
Honestly think the Pope should just keep quite and worry about religion instead of politics that are happening half was across the world.

Yes that's partially correct except for some of the details In the beginning I don't agree with, but you're forgetting something. Trump wants to build a 'wall' to keep illegals out not ALL natives. Natives are still allowed entry though they need to enter legally.

Nicely put. The Pope has been digging his nose into alot of world affairs lately. He need not tread in matters that do not pertain to him. In my opinion he is making a fool of himself.

You're either misunderstanding the quote or you don't know the definition of 'Native.'
The quote says: "You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you."
In modern day terms this means: "You should treat the immigrants [legal or illegal] the same as the natives who already live in the country."
Natives are the people who already live legally in the United States. The stranger is the illegal immigrant.
If Trump is supposed to treat the stranger the same as the native then he should be letting them into the country.
I know, the obvious answer to this is that the President of the United States has to stop people from coming into the country otherwise it would be overpopulated, etc. etc. etc.
I would simply say that a Christian shouldn't be President then. If they take their beliefs seriously and follow the Bible then a Christian can't be President without contradicting those beliefs.
