So as some of you may remember, I was requesting help with my T100TA 2 in 1 Windows 8.1 tablet, well, here's an update on it. I was told by Asus Customer Support that my keyboard dock for my specific model, has a Sata II HDD/SSD slot. My plan was to open it, install an OS on that one, and use it to root through the internal SSD in the tablet itself, the one with the broken OS, to fix those core files that for some reason just wouldn't properly write to it, but upon opening it, I realized there was no such slot for an HDD/SSD. So I put it back together, no big deal.

Then I decided to open the tablet itself using a tool kit specifically designed for that brand of tablets, to remove the SSD and run tests on it using my external HDD/SSD adapter, and I got a tiny nick on my screen, a small crack, and then out of nowhere, it spider webbed across the entire screen, ruining it completely. If you remember my introduction, I have some... Anger issues, that I'm trying to overcome, caused by the divorce I spoke about on that topic, so I proceeded to pick up the tablet, and chuck the thing right out the window into the rain while it was still on.

So now I'm in the market for a new laptop and found a nice one, an actual laptop instead of another tablet because that was my first experience with a tablet with a full OS on it, I'm not too pleased.

Here's the laptop I'm looking at, link was long so I shortened it: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I would just build a desktop, but with my living situation, that wouldn't be too suitable, besides, I like the portability. But the specs on it are decent, especially the 8 core processor in it, though I'd definitely double or triple the RAM upon receiving it. I think it'd be a good investment, and then that is when I'll start making videos again. I planned on it with the tablet but now I can't really so oh well, I tried. We'll see how it goes once I get this laptop, unless someone else has a better laptop they can recommend within the price range of the one linked above.
