CalzuhUK wrote You're not being forced to buy supply drops, and the new weapons aren't better than the normal ones either???these weapons are better in almost all cases. I have the Mx Garand and I will say it is supper over powered.it is kind of balanced by magazine but can out gun any 1v1 situation. The crossbow akimbo is a crazy spray weapon that is too good. And the marshal pistols akimbo are unbeatable in any close distance gunfight. I think they affect SnD more than other game modes but besides the substitutes to the combat knife the weapons are op.

The new guns are definitely annoying, but they aren't overpowered. If they were OP, then it would support a pay to win model. A simple VMP or an M8 would pretty much destroy all the DLC guns. To be honest, they're just a gimmick to get some quick sales. I don't expect some of the weapons to be used long term.

We pay at minimum 60 dollars for this game. Then on top of it they want us to buy the season pass (which I myself do) which is another 50 if I have my prices correct. Thats 110$. For 110$ I should get everything that they have to offer for the full year and not have to spend more money to get these stupid supply drop weapons. The drop rate is EXCRUCIATINGLY low so even if you do drop 40$ or more you are not even guaranteed to get one of these weapons. The Iron Jim (until the recent hot fix) was the best melee weapon in the game. The MX Grand is a two shot kill that fires at a pretty fast fire rate, and the shot gun pistol is a OHK at ridiculous range. These guns to me should be included in my already overpriced game/season pass. I fear COD is headed down a dark dark path and I don't want to see that happen as this franchise has been amazing up until Sledgehammer started giving it cancer with AW.
You don't have to buy the season pass, it's your own choice. I prefer to research the map packs before purchasing anything like that. Also, it's not true, I guarantee if you don't have any weapons from a drop, purchase a $40 credit for drops, you will get one atleast. I think you're being to rash because there are a lot of games that do this and CS:GO bring the top rated game that does this works out fine. I think it's because this your first time being experienced to it and you are just having bad luck.

I have the mx grande but prefer the XR-2 so it's not pay to win.

There is absolutely no guarantee that you will get a weapon out of a supply drop if you drop $40. It is 100% purely randomly generated.

I dont think bo3 i splay to play, except for the new guns. aw was much worse with the different types of guns, which were op as hell.
I sure do hope it isnt turning into a csgo, clash of clans pay to play type of thing and how supply drops would kindly piss off

You don't HAVE to buy supply drop tokens just like any other game offers to do so IF you want to spend your money. COD is a PLAY to WIN because if you play you get tokens and you get the supply drop. I've gotten one of the new guns you forgot to mention out of the supply drop fairly early and only took 3 drops. Stop complaining and play the game

I honestly hate when people say that Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 were/are Pay to Win.
First off, ANYBODY can get any of the Nlack Market guns.
Secondly, even if you pay for COD points, you're not guaranteed to get anything good in the Supply Drops.
It's not like Treyarch is offering a flamethrower with a bayonet that shoots morta rounds for $20 on the in-game store.
Season Pass owners do not get anything special except for the Maps when they are released, so we're not paying to win.
There is nothing on the game that is purchaseable that gives any player an advantage over another player.

There are no bonus or DLC guns in CSGO. You get a skin, which is the same as a camo.
It serves no purpose other than to show off and look good.
No matter what you hear someone say, better skins do not make you better.

Exactly. Treyarch stated during a BO3 Friday pre-release that all supply drop content would be visuals only. Obviously now this isn't the case. I feel like we have been lied to.
