I don't know too much about Pc's but, I have an I5 4590 and a GTX 960 4GB. Will a 450w PSU be able to handle this? When I'm playing games like CS GO my PC temp will go up to about 70 Degrees at some points and use nearly all of my CPU usage. Ay feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Yes, as long as it's a decent unit, which one were you looking at?

I was looking at it on PCSpeacialist by just picking my own parts. But will having a more powerful PSU lower the CPU Usage and Temps or will I need to add more fans?

No, the PSU will have little to no affect on temperature, or CPU load. 450W is more than enough for an i5 and a GTX 960, however a 4590 and 4GB 960 is a pretty terrible pairing. Also, the quality of the unit matters a lot more than the wattage, as long as the wattage is sufficient. PCSpecialist use pretty bad quality Corsair units, unless you go for the extremely expensive AX1200i, or AX1500i.

What's the reccomened psu for this system?
I5 4590
GTX 960 4gb
8GB DDR3 Kingston

Is 450w Good enough for gaming? or should I get like a 550w to be on the safe side?

Your question was answered by the first reply.. 450w would be fine, but getting a better quality unit is more important than a higher wattage lower quality one. What is your budget for a PSU?

If you wanted to stay on the cheaper side, the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] would be fine, but a higher cost, better and fully modular unit would be something like the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Well, what is it? £100 or $140? As I already stated, if you're buying from PCSpecialist, your options are limited to poor quality Corsair units for the most part.
