So I had a ps4 which I sold but forgot to deactivate primary and now I have another ps4 but can't activate on it.
Someone told me you can deactivate it remotely on playstation website but you can only do it once every 6 months so what does this mean?
Does it mean if I once deactivate it remotely I would have to wait six months to activate it on my console?

Yes you can. But after you deactive you can't deactivate remotely for 6 months.
