And paying extra for it to look amazing and never feel like you need it removed is better than saving 50 pound.

$50-$100 for a tattoo on his arm (assuming it's his forearm) with a cross and text? LMAO I would love to know what tattoo artist would charge that cheap for an arm tattoo that is supposed to end up looking good, one of my tattoos is text on my wrist that is 10 pt in font size and that was $170 alone.

I'm not saying it's that price, I'm saying it's better to pay more. I'm miswrote the first sentence. It would be around 100-300, also this is in pounds not dollars and the lowest figure 100 pounds is equal to 139 dollars.

Pounds not Dollars. £100 is near $150 But it would probably be over £150 ($210)

Depends on the shop, how detailed and how time consuming. Usually each shop has a standard hourly rate plus deposit. Just go in and ask and show design

That's pretty overpriced for simple text. I have a quote on my ribs and it didn't even cost me 100

Depends what you want and what place you go to, some charge more than others.

Have a shop around, make sure you find the right one for your design though.

you will never get a certain price different artists will charge differently, it also depends on things such as if your adding color and detail so your best option would be to go to a tattooist and speak with them.

It all depends on what you're getting tattooed. They might give you the shop minimum.

If it's just a cross with your dad's birthday they might give you shop minimum but it's really all up to them. You have to ask them because only they can tell you. Probably around $75 but not more than $100.
