Headphones with a mic would be better than a headset, but more expensive. Unless you've got $150-$200 to play with, HyperX Clouds are your best option IMO.

If you play fps shooters or any game you need to hear foot steps you should consider open back headphones like the ATH-AD500X. You can get a separate mic which will be much better than any headset mic.

the best headset you can get in my opinion is asto a40 but abit out of your budget they have great sound and the most comfy headset on the market i also like the razer kraken but after a few hours they become uncomfy but well worth the price at less than £100
