The presentation using that red bg is painful on the eyes.

It's very nice and simple, but it also makes it stand out if i saw this on a website (YouTube, Twitter, Insta, etc..) i would definitely go back to that webpage and check it out, it would catch peoples eyes for sure, nice concept and you planned it out well, in all good job, 8/10, keep up the good work !

Honestly I think the background needs a re-think.

I like what you have done with the text, because it really stands out but as someone else on the thread has said, the red background doesn't really fit.. It clashes with the red on the text and makes it seem a bit off.

I would say rework the background, switch up the colour or just change it entirely, even a darker shade of hue would work.

Yeah, I had started this project before I did the one you're talking about and I just didn't really like the style or know how to make it better, so I kind of pushed it to the side. Well, a little bit of time passed and I started working on that piece and really liked how it turned out, and I thought, "hey, I wonder how this would look for my Billards Link logo if I tried a similar style". So, that's what I did. I really appreciate all the feedback, you guys don't know what it means to me; I will admit, I rushed the background, but I couldn't think of anything else to do with it, but I'll go back and rework it based on latterly posted feedback.
