No I like classic COD much better.
Such as:
MW2
WaW
COD 2
BO1
BO2
But no farther than that.

i personally do not like it, i miss the way the old call of duty played back from world at war (best) and probably always will be up til black ops 2. ever since then i haven't been into cod very much anymore.

Nah I don't like it.
I think CoD should either stay modern or world war type games.
Leave futuristic for different companies, just my take on it.

No, I personally think it's awful. I know times change and people want to try new things but what happened to a good old fashioned shootout? Cod 4 & MW2 will always remain the best CoD's!!

I think Advanced Warfare did it wrong, but I feel Black Ops 3 did it quite well. I liked settings that were more modern and relatable to current issues, but I don't hate the future games. People wanted change as well. Going into the future and looking at potential technology was a pretty big change. I'm fine with it, but Ghosts 2 is most likely next. It is just a matter of if they add more tech and put in exo suits, lol. I hope they at least change the scorestreaks up. Didn't like them in Ghosts.

I really hate it at all, just hate how far into the future they have went. I wish they would make another classic cod sometime soon

I feel as if Blops3 is where it should stop. I like blops 3, but I don't want it being even more futuristic than that.
BO1 had the perfect timeframe in my opinion. (queue flaming)

I hope they bring the old cod style back, I'd rather use bullets instead of laser beams and mini guns that shoot from a robots arm

No not at all, Call of Duty was so much better on COD4-MW3 then it just went down hill from there...

Not too much. I don't know if we can count Black Ops 2 as "futuristic" yes it was set in 2025 and the true futuristic stuff was only in campaign really, the MP was boots on the ground. AW had a shot at it, and they completely ruined it in my opinion. Black Ops 3 seems better than AW, but AW gave the whole futuristic scene a bad taste. I personally think it's time to return back to boots on the ground and maybe in 2 years or so, try chance at another futuristic game and see where it goes.
