How good is he?
I was thinking about building a 50k around him to test him out, how would I use him?

It's a very good formation, but for the mid CM I would have a player with high defense work rate and good defending

It's my go to formation for most my squads. As long as I have a holding defensive minded midfielder it's okay.

As long as you have one of your three CMs play defensive, preferably the middle one, then you should be fine.
