It's always bugged me when someone will rephrase your answer without adding anything to the topic to what may just be to boost their post count. I'll see questions that've been unanswered for a while and answer them and when I look back to see their response I'll see a flurry of the exact answer suddenly posted after mine. Sometimes I don't think some of the users even own the game or know the subject and just post after seeing my post float through the "Recent Post Feed".
It's just a little rant, does anyone else notice this or maybe would someone mind admitting to it for confirmation? Lol

Yeah post boosting has always been a problem and is a little annoying but I guess there's nothing you can do about it. Spammers will get known as spammers and ruin their reputation themselves anyway.

This has been an issue for a while, if you feel like the users reply is irrelevant/contributed nothing at all and they continue posting things like that you can always press the report button and click on spam or whatever option you feel it is.

Yes, I see a average of amount of members that do it, for me to see their stupid abc123 answers. I downvote their answer because it's irrelevant to the question. Just report them and just move on. Soon they will catch on what they said and done.

You should have seen the news comments almost a year back (the ones you post for MVC.) People were pretty much "stealing" comments and just change a word or a few words. I haven't seen that happen in a while in the news articles, but I know it happens on the forums too.

I do agree with you to an extent, but I don't think most people do it on purpose. There's been plenty of times a thread was just posted and I'll be in the middle of a reply when a couple other people hop on the thread. None of us can see if someone else has already posted a reply in the middle of making their post, so we all end up posting at the same time and you end up with a bunch of replies all reiterating each other. Then you have the people who come across threads in the activity feed that don't take the time to see if the question was answered before making a reply. Do people go on threads and purposely copy other people's answer just to get their post count up? Of course. From what I've seen though, they're the minority. I don't think it's that big of a problem, it's not exactly a rampant issue.

Unfortunately that's just something that happens on a lot of forums nowadays. Yes, most of the time it's blatantly obvious that some members are just wanting to increase their post count, but the odd time it may just be a case of several members posting at the same time. Usually I will just ignore it and won't let it bother me, but if I see someone posting too frequently on old threads (grave-digging, etc.), then I would report them.

Look yes it's true I've seen it on TTG for a while, it's called boosting your post count the easy way If you want to see some good examples i suggest you visit the "Milestones and achievements" or the "Introduce yourself" areas

Yes this can be quit annoying sometimes and it is known as post boosting but sometimes users will be typing a post and when they post it a user has just posted the same thing and that cant be stopped
