Try taking them out and then powering on the machine, power the machine off, and then put the memory sticks back in and power it back on.

That should fix your issue, if it does not please reply back.

Can you show pictures of the RAM slots? What exact RAM and motherboard do you have?

This would also be useful information to provide. Also if you don't mind me asking _Skittle, why did you vote my post as not useful? 9 chances out of 10 it just isn't in there good enough. With a little research the answer I gave has worked for various people with the same issue.

You either have the wrong kind of memory for your motherboard or one of your modules may be bad.

Are you hearing 5 beeps and seeing 5 flashes? - Different types of flashes occurred can mean different things.

Test your memory for troubleshooting:
Turn on the computer.
Repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS Setup menu.
In the BIOS Setup Utility, use the Right Arrow or Left Arrow keys to navigate through the menu selection to locate the Diagnostics.
Use the Down Arrow or Up Arrow keys to select Memory Test.
Press Enter, and then Yes to perform memory test.
After test completes, press F10 key to Save and Exit, and then press Enter key to Exit Saving Changes.

you need to get new ram or take one off them out if it still does it, take another one out put up the first one you took out back in, it might just be one of them. or you can just have 1 in and find out which one is the faulty one

5 beeps, and 5 flashes means it is a memory related issue. So either one/both of your chips have gone back or the memory slot on your motherboard has somehow got damaged.

Try blowing it out and only insert one memory chip into the slot, if the one entered doesn't work try the other one(s).
