So im getting a tattoo on my shoulder / upper arm. I was reading online that that placement doesnt hurt while getting it. However i know that everyone's pain levels vary and i really cant rely on a pain chart / research. Not to brag but i can take a lot of pain. So just curious if anyone on here has gotten a tattoo there and if it hurt for you or not. And i anyone is wondering, im getting my horoscope sign(i think thats what its called), which is a leo, leo's are lions. So im getting a lion.

It honestly all depends on how much pain you can handle man, but if you have a high pain tolerance unless he hits bone i may not hurt that much but if you have a low pain tolerance its going to hurt alot

If its kind of like a sleeve, the part side of your arm near your armpit is sensitive and will probably be the most painful, and if as previous user mentioned the bone will hurt also.

If you can take a lot of pain I wouldn't worry about it at all. The arm is the easiest. The sensitive parts would be the inner bicep. or on any parts that are bony.

If you can take a lot of pain like you say it shouldn't hurt as the arm is the easiest place to get a tattoo because it doesn't hurt as much.

I know people that can take pain, and they couldnt take a full tattoo, its a different type of pain.

But as mentioned the most painful part is around the pit. But bare with it

Well as everyone has probably said already, everybody has a different pain threshold therefore they handle pain differently. But just pace through it my friend and everything will be bless.

It's different for everyone man, I've got a full sleeve on my Right Arm and the most painful spots were:

My Wrist
Elbow area
Inner side of elbow

But I've talked to lots of people who say the back of the arm hurts, and armpit. All depends on your pain tolerance

Asking strangers isn't going to really give much away, you will just have to experience it for yourself unfortunately buddy
