So my friend and his girlfriend of 2 1/2 years broke up a month ago. I thought of this prank telling him that i had a crush on his girlfriend while they were dating. I dont think it would be harmful because ts not true. The only keeping me from doing it is the fact that he was so hurt after it. Im leaning on the side of not doing it because i dont wanna ruin our friendship.

I wouldnt risk it.

He could laugh it off, or if she meant alot to him he could see it as a dig and you mocking him which could ruin what you have.

It depends how much you value your friendship, personally i wouldn't do that to a friend.

If he's a real friend he will just laugh it off after.

Personally i don't think it would ruin your 10+ year friendship, but that depends if your mate has a sense of humour and will just laugh it off and see the pranks side to it.

Pranks are dumb anyways. I wouldn't risk it if you value the friendship you have with the lad.

Well if he is your best friend he shouldn't take you serious about it. But if he is still like heart broken then now is not the time to do it man
