What size do you guys have banners on your posts?
Like ones which say 'Portfolio' on the topic post.
Need the template size.

There is no real template as the forum resizes to match.

1000 wide should do it

It all depends what you are planning to do.

If its just a title I would go around 400

I am doing like a graphics shop so it'll be a few different banners with the content hider underneath so i'm just trying to make it look professional.

try around 300/400 see if its too big.

Or you could go onto a shop and see the size of the banners you like. Copy it and load it in Photoshop to have the exact scale, just put your layers on top

The text needs to stand out a little more, maybe a little drop shadow/outer glow with a bolder font.
Or blur the background a little
