Really starting to find it hard to get out of div 2 at the moment.

I have roughly 300k to improve my current team (which is roughly what I started with and it's not failed me until now)

Would really like some ideas on a new team/improvements with the budget mentioned not fussed on formations or a completely new team if needs be.

I would get a more attacking CM like KDB if you could fit him into the squad. CDMs are worthless in this game.
