I just got pulled over for doing 90 in a 45. He gave me a warning. That's a good way to end my day.

Wut...how did you get away? Do you have a clean record? Are you related to a police officer?... There has to be something.

I do NOT have a clean record. I've had 4-5 traffic citations and I am related to no police officers.

Edit: I've also had my license suspended once.

I was respectful and courteous. He tried to make me self-incriminate myself and I plead the 5th, respectfully. We talked for about 5 minutes before asking me for my information me and pleaded me to slow down.

As a police officer, someone can make your day by just being courteous. You have no idea how much shit they deal with on a daily basis. Just answering "Yes sir, no sir" "There is no excuse for speed" ... etc. Don't give them excuse because they've heard it before. There is no excuse. Just remember to be respectful, kind, and answer his questions respectfully. Don't forget to tell him a little story.

I respect nice cops, but I can't help but question this cop's judgement. Someone going 90 in a 45 is nothing to take lightly. I mean, when would be the time to actually punish the person? At 100? After they have killed someone?

You shouldn't be doing a 90 in a 45 anyway.

Kinda pathetic you were doing that you could have easily killed or seriously injured someone but i suppose you learnt your lesson.

Or to avoid all of the above, you could simply abide by the speed limits and not risk the lives of other motorists?

Stupid. You need to think about other people and not just yourself. I don't want to die to some stupid person.

woah! that's double the speed limit, you are lucky where I live over 40km/s the speed limit your car is impounded for 30 days and your license gets suspended straight away no warnings.
